Designer, Lydia Pearson and artist Shilo Engelbrecht created the uniforms for the Local Design exhibition at Salone del mobile this year in Milan. This meeting of minds sparked a new language and dynamic experimental process for creating garments. Over the last 6months Shilo and Lydia have devised inventive ways to explore, with little waste, repurposed and adaptable multi-fit pieces. Each is unique, the original garment disrupted and highlighted. This collection is an expression of the joy these friends have found in making, together.
